TONY BLAIR'S POPULARITY SINKS TO AN ALL-TIME LOW

A Sunday Times poll has shown that Prime Minister Tony Blair is now even more unpopular than he’s ever been! Very interesting and no surprise at all! According to the poll, the majority of people still believe Tony Blair offered peerages in return for labour party funding, despite his assurances to the contrary. This also comes in the wake of anti-war protests held in London yesterday calling for the immediate withdrawal of British troops from Iraq.

Hi Naomi,
I finally got round to posting on your forum.

Tony will probably deny this article about the ebbing of his popularity. He denies everything so why not this as well.

Perhaps he should change his name to "Baldrick" who was told by "Edmund Blackadder" to deny everything.

Cheers!

Hugs,

Anne

Dear Naomi, Surely offering peerages in exchange for labour party backing (the Conservative Party was renowned for receiving money from company management for the best part of the 20th century)is peanuts compared with the lies and utter cynicism behind invading Iraq, which has led to the destruction of the infrastructure of the country and between 35 and 40,000 deaths, most of them civilians. This should be the main reason for Mr Blair's fall in popularity, but sadly the blinkered British people don't seem to see it that way.
