DICKENS DESK AND CHAIR SOLD AT AUCTION


A 19th Century desk and chair used by one of England’s greatest novelists, Charles Dickens has sold for over £400,000 at Christies auction house in London. Charles Dickens is believed to have written his famous novel Great Expectations, whilst seated at the mahogany desk and chair. The famous desk and chair is now on its way to Ireland, after being snapped up by an Irish collector.
