SUSAN BOYLE - A YOU TUBE SENSATION

Scottish spinster Susan Boyle has become an overnight sensation after her recent appearance on Britain's Got Talent. The judges were about to dismiss the volunteer charity worker until she started to sing her version of the Les Miserables song "I Dreamed a Dream", blowing the audience away with her amazing voice. The judges watched in stunned silence with Piers Morgan describing her performance as, "amazing, incredible and stunning". Amanda Holden said it had been a "complete privilege" listening to her. Simon Cowell described her performance as extraordinary. A video of Susan's appearance on the show has become an instant hit on You Tube with over 18 million hits. It seems that word of Susan's amazing voice has spread far and wide! Even Demi Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher were heard "twittering" about it. Wow! News travels fast! Susan is this year's hot favourite to win the show. There are also rumours she will soon be a special guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show, after wowing Americans with her recent appearance on CBS's "The Early Show". Hi - she was good, yes, but I agree with all the commentators I've read over the weekend who say that, if she'd turned out to have a really bad voice, we would have treated her SO differently. It's the mismatch between 'looks' and 'talent' which is such a narrow viewpoint of ours. Anyway, the dance group who performed on the same night, Flawless, were AWESOME and although she was very good, they were better. Did you see them?

I've never posted a comment, or felt a need to, until I saw this beautiful woman! I hope she stays true to the angel she seems to be!

She is indeed amazing! The first thing I noticed about her are her eyes...she has the kindest eyes!

Yes I did see them Fran. They were great. It's so difficult though as there are so many good acts to choose from. I agree many people doubted Susan's ability because of her appearance which is so narrow minded. I say good luck to her - she sang beautifully and proved them all wrong.

Yes I hope she does too Anonymous.

I really like Susan too Marion. It's true what they say the eyes are the window of the soul and say so much about a person. Susan is a lovely, warm person. Her lovely personality shines through in her performance
