I can’t believe how the weather is changing in England. It could be something to do with global warming or the fact the Britain has had the hottest summer on record for over 200 years. On Monday a tornado swept across the south coast and into Brighton. Shocked locals reported seeing the sky suddenly turn black and a howling wind start to pick up, as they noticed the twister about a mile out to sea. The vortex of the tornado could clearly be seen above Brighton pier, as seagulls flew away from it. Fortunately for the people of Brighton, the tornado blew itself out before it hit land. I’m sure they heaved a sigh of relief!

Naomi, For some reason I didn't realize you Brits had tornados, a weather problem with which I am well acquainted living in the South in the US of A. We have the damn warning sirens so often that if there was an actual tornado, we'd all be doomed. My husband and I once slept through one that hit our community and killed a person. Oh well, when it's your time, it's your time.
I've been meaning to ask you about Ali G but haven't seen a good opportunity. The US is gearing up for his new movie and he is garnering all sorts of attention. I really love the Borat character but some find him offensive.
Yes Sheila we do sometimes get tornados here but they are rare and not on the scale that you do in the U.S. I know they can be really bad over there. I remember seeing the movie Twister with Pierce Brosnan.
I'm going to do a post on Ali G just for you!
I'm going to keep checking back. My two sons got me interested in him, but I really don't like his other bits as much as Borat.
