PARTS OF ENGLAND DEVASTATED BY HEAVY FLOODS

It's the 1st of July today and there's still no improvement in the terrible weather we've been having here in England. It looks like the heavy rain is here to stay with forecasters predicting it will continue until the middle of July. It's been the wettest June on record. Some areas of the country have experienced heavy flooding, with insurance claims running into millions. Our hearts go out to those poor people who have lost their lives due to the adverse weather conditions. Other poor people have lost their homes and possessions with insurance claims running into millions of pounds. With more severe weather warnings forecast for this weekend, as a massive clean-up operation has begun, people all over the country are bracing themselves for yet more flooding.
