According to a recent survey by the Carphone Warehouse, most Britons cannot get through a day without using their mobile phones. A quarter of people said they would feel isolated without one. Experts say that mobiles have restored our sense of community, with the majority of people relying on them to chat with friends and catch up on gossip. I must admit I’d be lost without mine!
