RESPIRATORY DISEASES BRITAIN'S BIGGEST KILLER

According to a recent report this week, respiratory diseases kill as many as one in five people in Britain, costing the National Health Service more than 6 billion pounds a year in treatment. The illnesses include lung cancer, tuberculosis, asthma and pneumonia. More people die of lung cancer than breast cancer in Britain, with respiratory disease killing more people than heart disease.
