TORNADO HITS LONDON

Six people were injured and hundreds left homeless last week when a 140mph tornado swept through a suburb of London, leaving devastation in its wake. In just 10 seconds, the tornado, tore the roofs off houses, blew cars over and sent trees flying through the air. A local shopkeeper described the scene as like something "out of the Wizard of Oz," with the tornado just "sucking things up."
