LATEST HARRY POTTER BOOK WELL RECEIVED BY EAGER FANS
Around 600,000 copies of JK’s Rowling’s latest Harry Potter book, "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows" were delivered to British homes on Saturday, all pre-ordered by readers eager to discover the fate of their favourite boy wizard. Royal Mail organised the deliveries with military precision, using 180 extra trucks and an additional train service to distribute the books from retailers’ warehouses to delivery offices across the country.
Meanwhile Harry Potter author, JK Rowling has written to retailers worldwide urging every bookshop selling the new Harry Potter book to display posters of missing British tot Madeleine McCann. The little girl’s father, Gerry McCann described the news as “fantastic”. It’s certainly a great way to keep the little girl in the public eye. Initially JK Rowling had suggested inserting bookmarks bearing Maddy’s photo into every copy of the new book. However this idea was dropped in favour of the posters as JK Rowling believed herself and book retailers had a responsibility to younger readers, to protect them from exposure to certain issues without their parents’ consent.

That's a pretty neat thing Ms. Rowling did. Just imagine if more people of influence did something like that.
Yes Gatekeeper it was a really nice gesture and will keep Madeleine in the public eye. JK Rowling also kindly donated a lot of money to Madeleine's fund as well. A few famous people have got involved now including David Beckham.

The name of my book is “Gideon’s Journey”. It’s about a young woman who seems to have everything going for her, until her life changes overnight after a bad accident which leaves her paralysed. Until the accident, the young woman never really appreciated what she had. It takes a life or death situation and the help of her guardian angel to make her evaluate her life. The moral of the story is that with the right attitude, we all have the courage and inner strength to overcome all adversity in life, no matter what hardships we face.
