DANIEL RADCLIFFE RECEIVES RAVE REVIEWS FOR WEST END DEBUT

Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe got a standing ovation as he made his West End stage debut this week. Daniel better known as his alter ego Harry Potter, appeared naked in the lead role of a tortured teenager in the gruelling psychological thriller Equus, leaving people under no illusions that the young boy wizard had finally grown up. Watched by a star studded audience on his opening night, Daniel received rave reviews for his performance from his co-stars and critics alike. Several Broadway theatre bosses are now battling for Daniel to bring his stage show to New York, however Daniel’s commitments to the next Harry Potter movie mean he is unlikely to perform there until next Autumn at the earliest.

I heard about this play. Daniel Radcliffe took quite a risk as an actor taking on such a controversial roll. I'm glad it worked out for him. I think the more public awareness there is about disturbed individuals like this character, the safer we all will be.We can't protect ourselves from things we aren't willing to accept exist.

I'd heard he got outstanding reviews. I hope he can make the transition to adulthood stardom without a bunch of problems like some child stars.

Daniel is doing really well. It was a big step for him but he seems to have made the transition from child star to adulthood with ease Sheila. I agree Rising Rainbow, we do need more public awareness of disturbed characters like the one in the play.

I only hope that people are there for this excellent play and not just to ogle at him. Hopefully if they are they will get so involved in Equus they will forget why they originally came.
