Oscar winner Helen Mirren this week revealed the secret to her youthful appearance. No it isn’t the latest lotion, potion, face cream or wonder drug as some people might think. The secret to her youthful good looks is being happy. I've always believed that a positive outlook is everything and that if you're happy on the inside, it definitely shows in your appearance on the outside. It's certainly true in Helen's case. After her Emmy, Globes, BAFTAs and Oscars successes this year, Dame Helen certainly has plenty to smile about! Well done to her!

Helen is such a brilliant actress, wish we got more British TV here especially with her in like Prime Suspect but unfortunately it's all US programs.
Speaking of Helen Mirren - I was wondering what the overall British opinion was of the movie "The Queen". I saw it with two friends of mine - one from Scotland and one from Cornwall, but they've lived in the US for years. Was interested in a non-expat opinion.
Well Dona everyone I know enjoyed the movie. The overall reaction in Britain has been good. Also I personally believe the resemblance between Her Majesty and Helen Mirren is almost uncanny. The make up people did an excellent job.
