BRITONS FAIL AT BASIC DIY TASKS
Despite the endless round of DIY and home makeover programmes currently showing on British tv, over half of Britons are unable to change a lightbulb or bleed a radiator. Three quarters would not even consider hanging wallpaper according to the results of a survey by the Ideal Home Show. So now we know!

If I spent as much time actually working on the house as I spend watching television how to shows, I'd have it ready to put on the market. I love these shows because there's a problem and someone comes in and it gets fixed. If only the rest of life could be so simple.
I agree Sheila. Also the experts make DIY tasks seem so easy. Everything is easy when you know how!
