SIZE ZERO MODELS UNDER FIRE

London Fashion Week has sparked fierce criticism of size zero models. Critics argue the models promote a stick thin image as trendy, encouraging eating disorders in young girls. Bumpkin, a trendy Notting Hill restaurant popular with celebrities, is offering free food to any models with a BMI (body mass index) of less than 18. Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch!

Do you know who Twiggy was? She may still be alive, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out she wasn't.

Yes I remember Jean Shrimpton alias Twiggy Rosemary. Surprisingly enough she is still alive but not as thin as she used to be. I think she looks much healthier now.

As near as I can remember, she was the beginning of the emaciated look in modeling. I know they made a very big deal of her size at the time.
