TV POSES SERIOUS THREAT TO HEALTH

According to the results of a report released this week, watching too much television can seriously damage your health. Spending several hours a day in front of the tv increases the risk of Alzheimers disease and can cause permanent eyesight damage in both adults and children. In addition watching many hours of tv from a young age, can trigger autism and premature puberty in some children. It is also one of the biggest causes of obesity through lack of exercise, increasing the risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. Apparently the average 6 year old spends the equivalent of a full year watching tv and over half of 3 year olds have a television in their bedrooms. Frightening news.

A 3 year old with a television? Now that's a shame.

Yes it is sad to think of a 3 year old having their own tv. But like most things in this life too much of anything, including tv, is a bad thing. It's all about moderation. Thanks for stopping by Sheila and Sharon.
