CARROTS KEY TO STAYING YOUNG AND SEXY

Scientists at the Universities of Exeter and Glasgow have discovered a link between carrots and staying youthful! Apparently Carotenoids which give carrots their orange colour help to slow down the ageing process. According to the experts who tested their research on male stickleback fish! eating Carotenoids (found in carrots), made the male fish live longer and boosted their sex appeal! Whether it has the same effect on humans remains to be seen! All the more reason to eat your carrots!

Eating a carrot sounds easier than found the fountain of youth. lol

Do they have any leads about the little girl?

I eat carrots all the time. I think it was because of all the Buggs Bunny cartoons I used to watch. I was brain washed into eating spinach by popeye and carrots by the damn bunny. And I also blame my drinking on James Bond and my smoking on Bogart! Damn Hollywood damn them to hell!

Doesn't eating too many carrots turn you orange too? this is not a joke, I think it might even be the same Caroten wotsits that keep you looking young...

We could all be very old and look like David Dickenson, what a joy!

Hi Naomi! I dropped by to see what you are posting on and to let you know that your BLOG VILLAGE interview is LIVE!!!

Good thing I love carrots...especially the baby carrots...I need all that I can get!

It's great that you are posting the information about the little girl. She and her family are in our prayers.

It certainly does Princess Haiku. Two people have been called in for questionning but apparently there wasn't enough evidence to hold them. Apart from that no further leads at the moment. We're all praying for Maddy's safe return.

Honkeie2 it's so easy to blame movie heroes for your bad habits. Still sounds like you picked up some good habits from them too!

Eating too many carrots can turn you orange. Still if we all look like David Dickinson, at least we'd never have to use fake tan again! Thanks for stopping by Alastair.

Hi Janey

Rosemary actually told me about the interview. It looks good in print. Thanks for that. I hated carrots as a child and blame that for my poor eyesight now. My grandmother always said that's why rabbits don't wear glasses! Everyone in England is trying to do their bit to get Madeleine home where she belongs. Thanks for your kind thoughts Janey.
