BLAIR & BROWN STRIKE AGREEMENT ON PENSIONS

First the good news, the link between state pensions and earnings is to be restored.

The bad news is that we’re all have to work longer to help fund this, with the retirement age being raised to 68 or 69 and the link won’t be restored until 2012.

Well at least Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have finally struck an agreement on this, after initially disagreeing on pension policy.
