NHS COST CUTTING ON ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY

The National Health Service is under fire again this week for starting a campaign to encourage people suffering from certain ailments like heart problems and breathing difficulties, not to go to Accident and Emergency Departments. This is part of yet another cost-cutting exercise but unfortunately it’s the British public who are the sufferers.

We pay taxes to fund a Health Service which will take care of us when we’re sick, yet the system is failing everyone yet again, treating them as a nuisance and an inconvenience. With their attitude it does make you wonder sometimes why we bother paying taxes in this country.
