Apparently the experts say that the hole in the ozone layer is finally beginning to close due to a ban on "CFC's" (the harmful chlorine gases found in fridges and aerosols), although we still have a long way to go.
Earlier in the week, The Green Party recommended a ban on petrol powered lawnmowers as they apparently cause more pollution in the air than cars! Apparently one of the alternatives suggested was to let animals graze on the grass!
Where will it all end? In the earth's destruction for future generations if we don't take account of more important aspects of pollution like air travel.
